CHRIST-CENTERED
VOLUNTARY PROGRAM
Youth-Reach Houston is a long-term, residential program for boys ages 12-17 who want help. Our program is completely voluntary and is facilitated by screened, experienced staff. Set in a structure of a balanced family and home life, residents are provided with a Christian foundation and support to help develop their character, sense of responsibility and a strong work ethic.
Once accepted into our program, it typically takes 3-4 weeks to process all of the required state and local paperwork needed to begin the program. Families are never charged for the 24/7 services offered.

I found drugs at 14 and things got worse. I was chronically addicted to weed, opiates, and alcohol by the time I was 17… I came to Youth-Reach and God began opening my eyes. God uses this place to change lives like my own.

Not only did Youth-Reach pull me out of everything that had been dragging me down and clinging to my soul, but they developed a work ethic in me, taught me the discipline of spending time in prayer and in the Word, prepared me for ministry, and sent me out into it.

The strong foundation that Youth-Reach gave me has changed everything in my life. It led me to Cambodia where we’ve built houses, given away tons and tons of rice and drilled over 1,000 water wells. None of that would have been possible without Youth-Reach.

The Why Behind the What
Boys at Youth-Reach work through things like leadership, commitment, identity and healing from past trauma and hurt. While it would be efficient in the short term to simply teach the boys how to do these things, what matters even more is teaching them why it is important to do so.
Year Nine of Ten
This month, we are closing out year nine of our 10-year transition plan. As our founder, Curt Williams, prepares to step away, his vision for Youth-Reach is now being entrusted to David Williams.
