CHRIST-CENTERED
VOLUNTARY PROGRAM
Youth-Reach Houston is a long-term, residential program for boys ages 12-17 who want help. Our program is completely voluntary and is facilitated by screened, experienced staff. Set in a structure of a balanced family and home life, residents are provided with a Christian foundation and support to help develop their character, sense of responsibility and a strong work ethic.
Once accepted into our program, it typically takes 3-4 weeks to process all of the required state and local paperwork needed to begin the program. Families are never charged for the 24/7 services offered.

I found drugs at 14 and things got worse. I was chronically addicted to weed, opiates, and alcohol by the time I was 17… I came to Youth-Reach and God began opening my eyes. God uses this place to change lives like my own.

Not only did Youth-Reach pull me out of everything that had been dragging me down and clinging to my soul, but they developed a work ethic in me, taught me the discipline of spending time in prayer and in the Word, prepared me for ministry, and sent me out into it.

My mom was nowhere to be found. My dad was also an addict. My relatives knew of my addiction and life of crime and didn’t want that influence in their homes. No one but Youth-Reach would take me. The YRH staff had a bigger impact on me than any of my biological family or friends. They taught me how to be a man of God.

Introducing David Williams
My wife Summer and I came to Youth-Reach with a heart to see a ministry led by the Lord; somewhere we could see His hand working daily. We came from incredible ministries that touched on some of what was in our hearts, but we desired to do it differently from what we had seen.
Christmas at Youth-Reach
It’s not Christmas Day that the boys of Youth-Reach look forward to, but the days after Christmas. On the 26th of December, Curt and Judah took the Stage One residents shopping with the gift cards they received for Christmas, and on the 27th they took the Stage Two guys shopping.
The Coming Season
Five years ago, with the guidance of our Board of Directors, we entered a ten-year succession plan. We would be foolish and even negligent to allow what the Lord has built to fall just because we failed to plan, so we have been very proactive to look to the future, pray, and seek out the Lord’s provision for the next season.
