CHRIST-CENTERED
VOLUNTARY PROGRAM
Youth-Reach Houston is a long-term, residential program for boys ages 12-17 who want help. Our program is completely voluntary and is facilitated by screened, experienced staff. Set in a structure of a balanced family and home life, residents are provided with a Christian foundation and support to help develop their character, sense of responsibility and a strong work ethic.
Once accepted into our program, it typically takes 3-4 weeks to process all of the required state and local paperwork needed to begin the program. Families are never charged for the 24/7 services offered.

I found drugs at 14 and things got worse. I was chronically addicted to weed, opiates, and alcohol by the time I was 17… I came to Youth-Reach and God began opening my eyes. God uses this place to change lives like my own.

Not only did Youth-Reach pull me out of everything that had been dragging me down and clinging to my soul, but they developed a work ethic in me, taught me the discipline of spending time in prayer and in the Word, prepared me for ministry, and sent me out into it.

My mom was nowhere to be found. My dad was also an addict. My relatives knew of my addiction and life of crime and didn’t want that influence in their homes. No one but Youth-Reach would take me. The YRH staff had a bigger impact on me than any of my biological family or friends. They taught me how to be a man of God.

Angry Young Men
This past Monday night I had the Youth-Reach boys over to my home for our weekly Bible study. The study was on anger, and I began with some seemingly innocuous questions. With the horrific news coming from Uvalde, Texas their responses should concern us all.

Shane and Abby Holcomb are now on the ground in Costa Rica. Hear what's next for their family and Youth-Reach, and find out how you can be praying.
Kevin’s Story: A Journey to Finding True Identity
This is the story of how I found my true identity. I was adopted from Guatemala at the age of 2 ½; this caused a big part of my identity issues since I never knew my biological parents. I had trust issues with my new family and everyone else.
