The boys we serve are not just “residents” or numbers on a spreadsheet. We adopt them into our homes and into our hearts. They are truly our “sons.”

When our ministry began nearly 40 years ago, people said it couldn’t be done. They didn’t believe we could provide a full-service, Christ-centered, residential program that was also free of charge. The fact that we have been able to operate in this capacity for so many years is a testament to the many people who have given generously throughout our history. Now we are expanding, and we need even more people to partner with us financially.

No. We never want to turn a young man away because his family is unable to afford the fee for a year-round residential program. That’s why we are committed to raising the financial support needed to cover all our expenses.

First and foremost, we provide an opportunity to hear the gospel and enter into a transformational relationship with Jesus Christ. We also provide a quality, comprehensive education experience that prepares our sons for higher learning, as well as life skills training to enable them to achieve their goals.

As long as a young man is making progress at Youth-Reach Houston, this is his home. We understand that every individual matures at a different pace, so we customize our program with each resident’s personal needs in mind.

No. More and more of the boys in our care are being told by their parents that they cannot return home after completing the program. Those without options will grow up on our campus and eventually leave for college or join the workforce. The longest a son has stayed at Youth-Reach Houston is six years.
