Jarod & Eva Dyess

I was recently at one of our sponsoring churches and heard the pastor speak on honoring those who have earned honor. Indeed, honor is not something given freely, yet we are often slow to stop and recognize those who have lived their lives in such a way that honor is due.

In the months to come, we want to recognize those who have faithfully served and led with honor. Of all who have served here at Youth-Reach, few are more deserving of honor than Jarod and Eva Dyess. They have served with us since early 2016, with Eva taking on a much greater role just this year. Jarod is the point man for our education system, and he takes this responsibility very seriously. He plans the schedule, monitors the curriculum, charts each resident’s progress and teaches several classes. He also leads the many field trips and off-campus outings that help our education program meet the unique needs of the boys in our care.

Jarod leads times of worship, is one of our go-to experts on state licensing standards, and he is the boys’ favorite cook. Jarod and Eva trusted the Lord for years as they desired to start a family, and just a few years ago, the Father blessed them with Enoch, and now Enoch has a little brother, Ezekial. Jarod and Eva bring a seasoned and faithful maturity to Youth-Reach. They are true servants, willing and ready to step in and step up when needed. They regularly go the second and third mile, not just for our boys, but for other staff members.

We want to take this opportunity to honor Jarod and Eva. We are deeply blessed to have them in our community.
