We had been planning for almost a year for the events that took place to recognize 40 years of the Lord’s sure provision. Our hope was to honor Him for the many, many miracles that were required to sustain Youth-Reach through trials, recessions, challenges and valleys.
An Unforgettable Night of Worship With Cory Asbury
On November 9, we gathered with hundreds of our friends and supporters as Cory Asbury led us into a time of celebration and worship. It is a blessing that Cory is not just a Christian artist we hired for the event, but a true friend of Youth-Reach and longtime best friend of David Williams, our Director at Youth-Reach Gulf Coast. Cory had the crowd focused on Jesus, often laughing, and for many more, in tears of gratitude. It was an amazing event, and we are so grateful to Inspire Church for hosting this beautiful evening for our ministry.
Teeing Off in Support of Youth-Reach
We caught our collective breaths on Sunday, and on Monday, November 11, we hosted our first annual Youth-Reach golf tournament with lead sponsor Spike Electric Controls. The weather was near-perfect and the venue, Bay Oaks Country Club, did not disappoint. We sold out the teams, and our many sponsors made this day a spectacular success. We want to thank these sponsors, as well as Caleb Davis and the entire crew of staff and residents from Youth-Reach Gulf Coast who came to Houston to serve at these events. Their hard work and priceless know-how made the worship night and the tournament resounding successes.
