For some, the Coronavirus has been an absolute nightmare, while for others it has been nothing more than an inconvenience. Some have lost loved ones and others have lost jobs and businesses, so we were not about to complain when the virus made a run through our Houston staff with no one suffering serious complications. It amazed us that with five infected staff members, all of our residents tested negative.
And all of this took place on and around Christmas, so we had to postpone the much-anticipated day after Christmas shopping trip when all of the boys get to go to the mall and spend their gift cards. In fact, that outing could not be safely taken until January 27th, so they had a delayed but no less intense shopping spree.
