Back in December, we asked that you consider our Christmas Wish List. A longtime friend who gave towards this list recently asked us for a report on how this was fulfilled.
We asked the boys what they would like, and they gave us some ideas. For the first time, the list was mainly experiences and events. On the list are outings, camping trips and sporting events. The guys have had a few days at the beach, they went out for a movie night and had an afternoon at Cidercade (an arcade on steroids). We are spreading these opportunities throughout the year, and recently, one of these opportunities was a day trip to The Kemah Boardwalk (shown above). It was a day of amusement rides, questionable food choices and lots of smiles and laughter.
And if you are wondering, these opportunities are certainly gifts to these boys, but they also earn them. Thank you for helping us to bless these guys.
