Over the last few months, we have brought you updates on the progress of our new education building, and thanks to some nice weather the vision is fast becoming a reality.

As you may have already read, this will be the Dr. Charles E. Cowles, Jr. Education Center, named after our dear friend and board member who died tragically the day after Christmas.

The center will feature both a segmented classroom with 18 computer workstations, along with a large lecture style classroom, men’s and women’s restrooms, and a small kitchen.

Dr. Cowles (just Charles to those who were privileged to call him a friend) was a perpetual student. Even after completing medical school and becoming a practicing physician, he returned to college to earn his MBA. So, it makes sense for us to connect Charles and his legacy to our new education building. We have been sending his wife, Jennifer, updates, and she is excited to see the progress and very excited that this facility will be a constant source of honor to her husband and the heritage that he left for all of us who knew him.
