All of us here at Youth-Reach grieve deeply over the travesties that led to the death of Houston-native George Floyd in Minneapolis a few weeks ago. We are united in our condemnation of racism of any kind and demonstrated in any form, and committed to the long-term effort of racial reconciliation, healing and justice for those who have faced systemic racism and oppression.
We cannot be a great nation that only offers it’s freedoms and liberties to the Caucasion, but to be a great nation the field of opportunity must be level for all.
We are a diverse group and will continue to celebrate the beauty of our diversity, but will not settle for less than the tangible practice of liberty and justice for all.
