On August 26th, the boys of Youth-Reach Houston streamed back into the Dr. Charles E. Cowles, Jr. Education Center here on our campus for the first full day of the 2022-2023 school year. Now, they go to school year around. In the summer they have an abbreviated schedule, but on the 26th it got serious. Even though it was just as hot outside, it marked the end of summer activities that included camping trips, paintball outings, museum visits, days at Main Event, and trips to the beach.
All in all, it was a great summer, but now it is time to get back to the business of education. For some, this means catching up as they are behind on needed credits. For others, they can actually get ahead and graduate early if they work hard and stay focused.
